Matthew Haas
Matthew Haas is Principal and President of Infinite Urban Solutions. Matthew previously was Director of Investor Relations at Berkadia Affordable Tax Credit Solutions (formerly Riverside Capital) from May 2018 to October 2020 and Director of Investor Relations Fund Management for Merritt Community Capital Corp from August 2010 to May 2018. With over 25 years of affordable housing and community development experience, he has raised over $600 million in multi-investor & club funds for Berkadia & Merritt, financing over 7,000 units of housing. He was successful in attracting 18 new investors as well as sourcing developer sponsor relationships. Previously, Matthew served as Deputy Director of California Lending for the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), a CDFI involved in affordable housing, charter schools, childcare and community facilities lending. In addition, he has worked as a Senior Equity Account Manager at Fannie Mae and a Vice President and Client Manager for Bank of America Community Development Banking in Southern California, a Senior Acquisitions Officer at National Equity Fund in Chicago, and a Senior Program Manager for Illinois Housing Development Authority. In his early career, Matthew was Assistant Director of Housing and Health Facilities at St Nick Neighborhood Preservation Corp and Assistant Project Manager for NYC Housing Preservation & Development.
Matthew Haas, as part of his commitment to be of service, has contributed his time on a number of key committees and boards. He currently serves as a Board Member of Clifford Beers Housing, a Board Member and Board Treasurer of Community Health Councils of LA, and a Project Review Committee Member of Innovative Housing Solutions.
Matthew Haas has an M.S. in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a B.A. in Architecture / Environmental Design from UC Berkeley.
